We use these details to review the application and run your account, nothing else. Applications are reviewed Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM MT.

We'll verify your resale certificate with the issuing state and reply to the email address you gave within 2 business days. Once the account is approved, we email the pricelist and your login goes live.

Before you apply.

Anything else about the application? Email accounts@urbanbuycommerce.com — we reply within one business day.

Up to 2 business days from a complete application. We check the resale certificate with the issuing state and confirm the business address. If either needs more from you, we ask by email within one business day. Applications sent after 5:00 PM MT, on a weekend or on a federal holiday count from the next business day.

Certificates from any US state or DC, and multi-state forms — the Streamlined Sales Tax certificate and the MTC uniform certificate — where your state accepts them.

One catch: if your certificate comes from a different state than the ship-to address, say so in the notes. Some states don't accept an out-of-state resale certificate for deliveries inside their borders; if yours is one of them, we'll tell you which form it takes.

No — an order needs an approved account, because the certificate is what lets us sell to you without sales tax. Pricing doesn't have to wait, though: request the pricelist and we'll email pricing, pack sizes and stock status within one business day.

Online sellers apply the same way. Put your storefront URL — your own site or your marketplace seller page — in the website field, and use your registered business address in section 3. That's the address we check against the certificate, and freight ships there.

Not at first. The first three orders are prepaid by ACH, wire or card — the opening order from $375, reorders from $140. Once three orders are paid and two trade references check out, we move the account to Net 30. You don't need the references to apply; send them to accounts@urbanbuycommerce.com when you're ready.
